We are embracing the community spirit and putting on activities for all the family at the Darwin Waterfront and Marrara Sporting Complex during the Arafura Games 2019.
Have a go at drumming, check out your squash skills, learn some sepak takraw, enjoy live music, watch multicultural dance groups, listen to the Congolese choir and try our family obstacle course.
There’s also face painting, stilt walking, pop-up photo booths, info booths, Aboriginal art and culture workshops, didgeridoo workshops and a variety of food stalls (at Marrara only) to choose from.
Marrara Indoor Stadium (lawn area in front) Times: Saturday, 27 April to Friday, 3 May from 9am-8pm and Saturday, 4 May from 9am-2pm.
Darwin Waterfront (near children's playground) Times: Sunday, 28 April to Saturday, 4 May from 10am-7pm.

Purple Patch celebrates Ice Hockey in Darwin
The Kaurna Boomerangs, Australia's first representative Indigenous ice hockey team, will travel to Darwin to play exhibition games against a local team during AG2019. The Boomerangs will be captained and coached by Jarrad Chester, the first Indigenous ice hockey player to play for Australia,

Purple Patch celebrates Dragonfly Dayz
Come and enjoy live entertainment with Boogie Beatz featuring Will Hatch on percussion at the pop up licensed bar. With delicious food available and free parking in West Lane Carpark from 3pm, this free event is one not to be missed.
